Welcome to our blog.  We are a group of students learning about computers, blogging and marketing ourselves online using Web.2 tools.  We would like to share some tips, recipes, for the festive season.  We are interested in researching ways to keep the expenses down during the Christmas holidays.  If you have any ideas your are welcome to leave a comment.  Merry Christmas….

Here is a quick recipe to start us off:

Christmas quiche

4 eggs

1/2 cup milk

2tbsp cream

1/2 cup grated tasty cheese

pinch nutmeg

sheet of shortcrust pastry

salt and pepper

Topping

Handful of cherry tomatoes, halved

Handful of feta crumbled

Basil leaves

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.  Line a 20cm flan tin with pastry.  Blind bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle base with grated cheese. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, seasonsing and nutmeg and pour into pastry case.  Bake for 30 mins or until set.  Top with tomatoes, feta and basil.

Puzzle games like monoply and scrabble are a great idea for kids.

Books and Cd are a good present for adults.
Kids may also like action figures of their favourite cartoon or movie character.

A budget Christmas what a good way to celebrate. I’m on a budget, and my youngest sister is already hitting me up for cd’s. Unfortunately for her she has a birthday on December 23rd. What am I to do? I have to distinguish the presents so that she gets one for birthday and one for Christmas.
